Swarm Taekwondo Christmas Party
Yes, it's approaching that time of year again.
Everyone is welcome to the 'Swarm' Christmas party. Students of the club, parents, grandparents, friends etc... A small presentation of trophies will take place on the evening, and a Disco and Buffet has been organised. This is an opportunity for everyone to let their hair down and enjoy a few drinks, have a boogie, and who knows 'receive a trophy'!

Welcome to the Swarm Tae Kwon Do website. Through this site you will be able to find out more about our club and keep up to date with the latest club news and events.
Swarm is a Tae Kwon Do club based in Emsworth and Havant, Hampshire, UK. We are a friendly club who always welcome new members and those who are interested in coming along to see if Tae Kwon Do is the martial art for them.
Tae Kwon Do is a martial art from Korea, and literally translates to 'the way of the hand and foot'. And Tae Kwon Do is now recognised as one of the events of the Olympic games.
At Swarm we teach the WTF style Tae Kwon Do, and include all aspects of the art in our lessons, for example:
:: Improving fitness, speed, strength and flexibility.
:: Kicks, blocks and strikes
:: Patterns
:: Board breaking
:: Self-defensive and knife defensive
:: Sparring
The general principles, or tenants, of Tae Kwon Do are Etiquette, Modesty, Perseverance, Self-Control and an Indomitable Spirit. And lessons can help to improve self-confidence, motivation and other benefits relating to the mind not just the body.
We have 1 adult class and 1 junior class per week.
The junior class is held on Sunday mornings from 10:00am to 11:30am, in the Small Hall at the Havant Leisure Centre, Civic Centre Road, Havant, Hampshire, PO9 2AY.
The adult Taekwondo class is held on Thursday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:00pm in the Gymnasium at Crookhorn College of Technology, Stakes Hill Road, Waterlooville, Hampshire PO7 5UD. But please note that during school holidays the adult class will be held at the same time in the Assembly room at the Emsworth Community Centre, Church Path, Emsworth, Hampshire, PO10 7DP.
